          Lauren Lane (born February 2, 1961)[1] is an American film, television, stage actress, and professor.

          She is best known for her role as C.C. Babcock on The Nanny (1993-1999).

          Life and career

          Lane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised in Arlington, Texas.[2] She attended Lamar High School and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
